Welcome to JOY for God. A Journey of Yearning.

This space is thoughtfully themed JOY for God, where JOY signifies a Journey of Yearning, a gentle, honest longing for God that unfolds through prayer, reflection, and everyday life. The inspiration for this journey comes from the JOY Prayer Notebook published by the Franciscan Friars of the Custody of St Anthony (Singapore, Malaysia, and Brunei). Through its spirit and structure, this website invites you into the same rhythm of prayerful reflection.

As you explore the website, you will notice that the information is intentionally themed and organised to reflect the words, works, and wonderment of St. Francis of Assisi. Our hope is that, through this design and flow, you may pause and ponder your own Journey of Yearning for God, where you are, how you arrived here, and where grace may be leading you next.

Throughout the website, you will encounter reflection questions drawn from the JOY Prayer Notebook, offered as companions for your prayer. You may also find yourself asking:
